Cool, but I doubt I'll enjoy Speedhunters as much after you've moved back to the States :D

Alex

Mike....in all seriousness....I think your talent is wasted for speedhunters.
You could something off that caliber on your own (without relying on other peeps).
Anyway, what's your car-project? Any insight?....lol
Keep up the good 'ol Auto-otaku going !

Muzaffar

Its okay Mike, you really don't have to force yourself to update this blog. I mean I know your busy with so many things lately, but try taking your time doing something and not rush into things yeah? LOL, apart from that I'm glad you still remembered about your site as I keep coming back here each few days to see what you try to update with, hahahahaha......

Also I'm guessing your car project is something "classic" eh? A Toyota perhaps?

Alonso

Ya i agree, i think you're much better than the rest of the speedhunters put together. I'm sick of antonio's shit, i want to see Auto-Otaku back! And cant wait to hear about what kind of car you have planned!

Rob

Yea man those Roadster pages are sometimes the only reason I pick up doriten sometimes haha.

I didn't get what you meant in your comment "into my suitcases" haha I was like huh?!

But goodluck with the move back, shame we didn't get to hang out a bit here in Japan a few times!

Banpei

Great to see you posting here again!

I'm not going to do any comparison like the reactions above. IMO Auto Otaku is not anything like Speedhunters and should be seen seperately. If there should be any comparison I think it should be compared as work and hobby! ;)

Apart from that IMO Antonio is doing a great job in what he's good at, just like I hope I'm doing what I'm hopefully good at. :P

Banpei

Just forgot to add one line to the comparison of work and hobby: work is something you do for a personal gain, hobby is something you do from your heart. ;)
However... Thinking back at all posts by Mike Garrett it would probably be doing your hobby for work. :D

Sir

Can you post more of cool kei cars? I need more pics for my kei car project. Want to modify some parts.

I think you should post more on your Flickr account..! your photos are interesting (especially being a Japan/car/Japanese car lover myself) and I'd like to see more than the limited selection seen on Speedhunters and the occasional post here. Perhaps a "car spottings" Set for example? I could look at those photos for hours. Plus on and off track racing photos, shows, locations, etc, you've taken so many inspiring photos. We need more content!
