Does this mean that Auto-Otaku is dead?

Indeed that's quite a nifty site, but I hope this place will not be neglected.

Hi!
Think this that speedhunters site is awesome. BUT has seen it to many times, its getting comercial, then maybe get paid for beeing a member on the new site. think the site www.overboost.com was so at first a few years ago.
But the most thing i will miss is the personal connection you had on this site. that made auto Otaku the best blogg ever.
Over and out from Sweden

Indeed, SpeedHunters is awesome and very well designed/laid out, but Auto Otaku is so much more unique and cool in so many ways. So please, keep this blog (AKA the holy grail of info about Japanese automotive culture) going.
Greetings from far away and tiny Israel.

I love Auto-otaku fo the tons of pictures. SpeedHunters is cool too but doesn't have a ton of pics.

I like the personal flavour of this blog. Speedhunters is too commercial.
Please keep this place updated!

Meh, I think Auto-Otaku rocks the shit out of that other site. The ONLY reason i've been to the other site is because nothing has been updated here. Please don't abandon this one, it would be a dissapointment.

I like the focis on other car cultures as well over at Speedhunters, but the biggest thing I miss is the huge galleries. That was what set Auto-Otaku apart from other car sites, because you could find all sorts of obscure gems that nobody would have the time to actually specifically write about and feature. Is it possible to just upload full picture sets to Speedhunters or to park those full sets over here on your Flickr while doing the write-ups for Speedhunters?

So what happens to auto-otaku now that most of your blog goes to speedhunters?

Starbucks used to advocate gourmet coffee in the early 90's, until they became, well, the Starbucks now that we all love to hate.
Difference is, when we think coffee, we think Starbucks. When we think motoring pornography (sorry, SSC/Banzai/Hong Kong Option/other trashy paraphernalia DO NOT qualify), a trillion websites enter our minds.
So please don't forsake Autaku. No one allows me to wank off to 14'x10' SSR Mark 1s with stretched tyres, KPGC10s with external oil cooler lines, EK9s with mismatched rims better than you do.

I miss Auto-Otaku. Speedhunter's shallow shots don't do it at all.
