Hi there!!!

I'm a big car fan, not an adicted in Japonese machines, I just like them all!!!
Anyway, I really like your blog and all the info!

Besides cars I'm in to photography as well and I would like to know what kind of camera/lens you use, tecnical info about shuter speeds for the panning shots and some other tips that you would like to share...
It would be great because I LOVE your pic's!!!

Greetings from Portugal!
João Guerreiro

PS: The 1/60 shot worked great! ;) Keep it up!

Tobias

Hey,

first of all, I simply love your blog, it's fantastic. So, looking at the pics of the EXCEED MOAT Silvia I noticed that it's rear bumper seems to be cut off in midair. Now a lot JGTC cars have the same rear bumper configuartion but I always thought that this might be because of some obscure aerodynamic regulations. However, seeing this type of bumper on a time attack car, I wonder if it has some kind of aerodynamic adavantage. Dunno, can anyone help me out and clarify the purpose of it?
Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany,
Tobias

Jeff

Wow, this blog never ceases to bring a huge grin to my face. This post has definitely been the highlight of my day.

Tobias, I'm pretty sure cutting off half the rear bumper is good for aerodynamics. Just look at the HKS CT230R.

Alonso

Hey Mike,
I've been keeping up with your blog for a while now and I must say this is one of my favorite updates you've done in a long time. I love the seeing all the awsome action shots. I'm also glad to finally see the pilot of the Super Now FC, Mr. Imaizumi! Keep the Super Now FC shots coming!

Any chance of a Super Now FC full feature on the blog?

Ilya

You, sir, absolutely never fail to disappoint and your work is getting better and better each time. It is really nice to have somebody on the "inside", who can bring awesome and up-to-date coverage for a JDM nut like me. Thank you very much!

Also, I agree with Jeff about the purpose of the cut rear bumper. I'm no expert either, but there are very good examples of this kind of design on the fastest cars around, like the HKS CT230R that Jeff beat me to mentioning...
