A couple months ago when I was browsing around my local used game/DVD shop I found a copy of the game "Saisoku! Zokusha King" which roughly translates to "The fastest bosozoku car king". I had seen these games in when I was in Japan before and for sale online through importers. I had contemplated buying one to try it out in the past but I never did. After seeing the game's price of 680 yen (a little over $6 US) for a used copy, I picked it up.
When I had some free time I popped the game into my PS2 to see what it was like. I wasn't expecting much, seeing as the game first came out in 2002 as part of a bargain series. If you are expecting me to say I was totally surprised and the game is actually awesome then you are wrong. Quite frankly, this game sucks.
In the game you can drive a number of '70s and '80s Japanese cars (unlicensed of course). When I say "drive" I mean some sort of control that is neither fun and arcadey nor realistic. The AI is also much much faster than your car at the start of the game. Later in the game you can earn points and customize your car but I didn't have the patience to play through the game much more than about 15 or 20 minutes. As expected, the graphics and sounds also leave a lot to be desired, even for a 2002 game.
The game does have some cool art work for the characters and I also liked the way Bosozoku-talk was integrated into the game. For example when it is loading it says something like "It's f@cking loading!" When it's done loading and it's time to race all the fun goes away though.
This game was actually the first in a series of a few zoku-sha king games. Maybe the newer ones are better, but after playing this one I'm a little weary about trying out the others. Basically, I give the game a 1 out of 5. Like I said, I wasn't expecting much but I was still disappointed.
Oh well, it cost about the same as Big Mac meal at McDonald's and the box will look cool sitting on my desk.
"When it's done loading and its time to race all the fun goes away though."
haha! thats pretty bad when the loading is the best part.

It's a motorcycle game and i was wondering if you knew what bikes were in it.
I,ve seen Suzuki RGU250R and Honda NSA50 from youtube vid.
Kinda random but i figured your the best at finding links.

I know it's probably too much to ask, but is there any possibility, that you could get some japanese racing games for me...? I mean titles like C1 Grand Prix Racing Battle, Battle Gear series for PS2 etc.

I played this in Bic Camera. Of course I didn't buy it.
Worst game is a Modified Truck game.
You get on the highway. It's 2 hours of tuck tuck tuck tuck noise.
Stupid.
