Last weekend I found myself back at Tsukuba Circuit for the 5th round of the BE Circuit time attack series. It had rained steadily the day before so track conditions were less than ideal. There were no new record times set but there was still some great action on the track.
I didn't take a ton of photos this time as I wanted to relax a little bit just enjoy the event. The BE events are really starting to grow in popularity. The newest issue of Option2 Magazine has a several page article profiling the event and its main competitors.
Now a look at some of the on track action-
Naturally it was the VARIS MKSport Cyber Evo 5 that had the day's fastest lap times. Although it was not running as fast as it was last time, it still brought home a very respectable lap time of 57.180. I'm sure the loss of time can be attributed to the slippery track conditions. The BE events are run during the morning so the track did not have a good chance to dry up from the rain the night before.
Second fastest was the Technical Factory Hirano CP9A with a 57.863 lap.
The R Magic FD was back in action for this event, best lap time was a 58.192.
The ATTKD R32 was also back with a new front end and a different wheel set up. Fastest lap was a 58.465
Every time I see the Super Now FC I like it more and more. So simple, yet so so fast. What's even more impressive is that after a change of tires and removal of the GT wing, the car is driven to and from the track. Lap time was 58.687. A street-driven car that laps Tsukuba in 58 seconds. Awesome. Check out Super Now's site at http://www.supernow.co.jp/ , they even gave my site a shout-out.
The Crazy Shift MR2 has to be one of the most serious SW20's anywhere. Power output is about 470ps. This car has run in the 59 second range in the past. The Super GT-inspired aero looks the part as well.
"Under" Suzuki was out on the track dialing in his S15. He was running his new homemade front splitter but it was hanging a little too low and scraping on the track. He removed it and is now redesigning it for the next event. Lap time was 59.966.
The other MKSport CP9A was running just above the one minute mark.
S14 in the first hairpin. Lap time was a decent 1:02.750.
The monstrous GT wing on the back of this FD is pure business. This car was ran a best lap of 59.904.
The always fun to watch Scorch S15, begging for traction at the exit of every corner.
After the event we headed across the street to the small cafe that is a popular gathering spot for Tsukuba racers. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a massive plasma TV playing Option DVD's. A number of the racers were there having lunch and talking about the results and telling racing stories. It was such a great atmosphere and it's times like that that make me remember how much I love cars.

All i can say is..... i love you :)

Once again, your work is absolutely outstanding! I've posted some of it on EvoM (that Evo's that is) and everybody seems to be loving it! http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=198520&page=18

Flat screen tv's are the best thing since sliced bread. I prefer plasma tv's over LCD. They have better picture quality and typically have a longer life.

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to receive the business loans. Furthermore, my mother commonly takes a sba loan, which occurs to be the most rapid.
