Finally got a full-time net connection now so expect more frequent updates now. First, here is a little more from TAS, which is by now on nearly every site on the net.
GP Sports D1 Street Legal Impreza. On another note I got word that D1 Street Legal is returning to Tsukuba Circuit this year for its final round in December. I'm looking forward to that for sure.
This year at TAS there was a small drift course set up where a handful of D1 drivers did quick demo runs. It served as an appetizer for the upcoming D1 season. It was a nice break from the static stuff inside the halls. Sadly, Saturday's runs were canceled due to bad weather. Here is Tezuka's R34 faced R32. There was an identical car in Goodyear's booth as well.
URAS isn't the only one who gets down with R34 sedans.
FD in the Advan booth. There was also a new Lexus GS with silver AVS Model 7's that looked suprisingly good.
Hokkaido's Garage NUT'S showed their dope C35 Nissan Laurel. RB26 powered of course. I cannot think of cooler shop name than Garage NUT's.
MASA Motorsports is known for their work with the Nissan Stagea. Here is their take on the newest version which is essentially a wagon version of the V35 Skyline/G35. Nice shakotan and wheel fitment.
With all the hype over the GTR, Evo, and STI it seems like the Civic Type R is often overlooked. This example is by Dunlop and Tracy Sports.

Lastly, this awesome S15 by GP Sports. It's like Kawabata's D1 car sans graphics. This was one of my favorite cars of the show.
I'll probably do one more Auto Salon post before moving onto to some new adventures in Japan.
