It's been nearly a year since the D1 Grand Prix held an event at Irwindale Speedway, but the drought is about to end as D1 returns to the "house of drift" on Thanksgiving Weekend for a two-day doubleheader . I was looking at D1 vet Yoshinori Koguchi's blog where he posted a picture of his 180SX being loaded into a container for shipment across the Pacific to California. He will be driving it in the World All Star match on Sunday November 25th.
Koguchi also saw Kuroi's One-Via and 07' D1 Champ Kawabata's S15 being loaded up.
It's good to know the field will include more Japanese drivers besides the handful that competed in the D1 USA events earlier this year.
In addition, according to the D1 site Kumakubo will be debuting his new Evo to American fans for the first time at this event.
Of course not all the good machines come from Japan. The SEMA show is now wrapping up in Vegas, where Justin Pawlak's newly refreshed FC3S drift machine was shown for the first time . A new, eye-catching paint job ,18x10J front/20x10J rear AME wheels, and a pavement kissing ride-height bring drift car styling to a new level.

See you at Irwindale!
That shitis bad ass im lovin tha s15!!!!!!!!!!

The FC3S is nice but the oversized rims look bad 20" is a way too much for drifting.
